About the Role
Pomelo Care is hiring a detail-oriented and motivated Remote Data Entry Coordinator to join its mission-driven healthcare team.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of patient health data — a key element in delivering excellent care and improving health outcomes.
As a Data Entry Coordinator, you will work closely with the Care Coordinator Team to manage large volumes of clinical data, maintain Electronic Health Records (EHRs), and ensure data integrity across multiple platforms such as Google Sheets, Type form, and EHR systems.
This role is ideal for candidates who excel at data organization, are passionate about healthcare, and thrive in a remote, fast-paced digital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately update and maintain Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and other clinical databases.
- Collaborate with the Care Coordinator Team to ensure timely data processing.
- Manage large data workloads efficiently while maintaining high accuracy and consistency.
- Track and report data entry performance metrics to management.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or discrepancies proactively.
- Work across Google Sheets, EHRs, Type form, and other digital tools to ensure seamless data entry and verification.
- Support ongoing improvements to data collection processes and workflow efficiency.
- Maintain strict compliance with data privacy and security standards (HIPAA).
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in data entry, data management, or administrative roles.
- Strong command of Google Sheets, Excel, and EHR systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Ability to handle high-volume workloads with efficiency and precision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new software platforms.
- Passion for improving maternal and neonatal healthcare outcomes.
- Prior healthcare or clinical experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
